Any start-up business in the capital that desires to be part of the next industrial revolution has to offer society a unique, socially and environmentally conscious product and business model. This has to be achieved while utilising the latest techniques and technology to protect against obsolescence as well as generating a valuable return on investment. We feel Zero Carbon Food achieves these targets and can offer a good return on investment.
Zero Carbon Food is currently looking for investment to help finance the business and we are eligible for EIS (Enterprise Investment Scheme). For more information contact HRMC or click here to see a short film that explains the scheme.
Any business eligible for EIS (the investor) can claim up front income tax relief up to the value of 50% of the money invested, if the company succeeds and you make a profit on the sale of your shares you are exempt from capital gains tax on that profit, if it fails you can still claim relief on the other 50% depending on the income tax you pay.

Worked in the food packaging industry for over 15 years and fully support the idea of reducing food miles. This project takes this to another level and it’s a pleasure I can support not only a good friend but also a fantastic idea.
